Company Overview

Who We Are

Kebena General Trading Plc, is a private limited company owned by family members who have been coffee producers and traders for more than three decades in Jimma zone districts. The family's background is deeply rooted in coffee farming from the very beginning, which inspired them to engage in coffee sector development and marketing activities.
Before establishing Kebena General Trading, we were coffee growers in the Limu districts and exporters of Limu and Jimma origin coffee under the trade name Haider Abamecha Coffee Export for more than a decade. Our operations have always been fully traceable and certified sustainable with RFA, organic, and café practices, which continues with our sister company.
When Kebena was established, our focus expanded to increase export volume with different coffee origins and grades. We also committed to participating actively in the medical sector by providing import, maintenance, and installation services for various medical and pharmaceutical equipment.
Our company is supported by a well-organized management system, logistics, sales, and documentation team, comprising qualified and experienced experts. We employ 2,000 permanent staff and more than 4,000 temporary workers during the coffee harvesting and processing seasons.
